Vardit Ravitsky

Vardit Ravitsky is President and CEO of the Hastings Center for Bioethics, a leading independent bioethics research center. She is also a part-time Senior Lecturer on Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a past Full Professor at the University of Montreal's Bioethics Program. Ravitsky has served as President of the International Association of Bioethics and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences. She holds a BA from the Sorbonne, an MA from the University of New Mexico, and a PhD from Bar-Ilan University. Previously, she was a Fellow at the Department of Bioethics at the National Institutes of Health and faculty at the University of Pennsylvania's Department of Medical Ethics. Ravitsky has published over 200 articles and commentaries and delivered more than 300 talks worldwide. Her research focuses on the ethics of genomics, reproduction, and the use of AI in health.
