Carrie Wolinetz

Carrie Wolinetz is a Principal Member at Lewis-Burke Associates and an internationally recognized expert in science and health policy. Prior to joining Lewis-Burke, she spent nearly a decade in public service, where she led the inaugural Health and Life Sciences division in the White House Office of Science & Technology Policy and the Office of Science Policy at the National Institutes of Health as Associate Director for Science Policy, and served as Chief of Staff to NIH Director, Dr. Francis Collins. Carrie has decades of experience advocating for university and scientific communities, working on biomedical and agricultural policy issues for the Association of American Universities (AAU) and the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB), and serving as President of United for Medical Research. She is a trained scientist with degrees in Animal Science and a research focus in reproductive physiology.
